Our history
J. & Chan Cleaning Services is run by mother-and-daughter duo, Annie and Jessica.
Jessica was a child when she began helping out at the family cleaning business, originally founded in 1994. Learning from the best, she picked up not just the techniques and skills, but also the hospitality that’ll turn any frumpy space into a warm, conducive environment for all.
In 2020, Jessica branched out with J. & Chan Cleaning Services, aiming to bring the family’s professional and personalised cleaning solutions, with a family touch, to a new age.
Adversity turned Opportunity
What began as a way to bring food to the table became a small business that brought up the Chan Family. Annie started cleaning and carved a niche with her valuble set of skills.
As a way to spend time with her daughter, Annie would often bring Jessica along as a enthusiastic part-timer. Seeing her mother hard at work, and often having cheery conversations with her clients, made Jessica see how cleaning wasn’t just about coaxing out a bad stain, but creating a warm and safe environment - one that Annie was able to provide with the cleaning business.
Today, Jessica has taken on the mantle and is assisting Annie to bring her style of cleaning to a new era.
